Love at First Bite
Ali’s cookies, named for co-owner Alison Glusman Rosengarten, happen to be absolutely, positively, some of the most delicious cookies that KosherEye has ever, ever tasted. Ali’s cookies are all natural, preservative free, and baked fresh daily. The emphasis is on the product, not the packaging… (although we like the packaging as well!). Each gourmet cookie weighs over 2.5 ounces and is at least 3 inches in diameter. An assortment of these cookies will be welcomed and devoured by any cookie loving recipient. We especially like them for hospital, get well, hostess, thank you, and “thinking of you” gifts.
And then there are the giant cookie cakes, which are amazingly fun, unique, and personal. Want a photo, a name or an image? These cakes can serve a whole birthday crowd, can be decorated “your way” and shipped almost anywhere.
When we asked co-owner Jeff Rosengarten about his company, he shared some sweet memories: such as the time he inscribed a custom cake with the words “I’m pregnant!”; the 9-tiered cookie cake wedding-reception creation; and the numerous cookie cakes inscribed as prom invitations. His latest project is sending boxes of one of his most popular cookies, “George Washington’s Revenge” (dried cherries, toffee bits, semi-sweet chocolate chunks, and oatmeal), to be included in gift bags for the 250 Hollywood VIPs /Celebrities at the Sundance Film Festival. Yes, Rachael Ray agrees with us and also thinks these cookies are Yum-O. Ali’s Cookies were recently featured as the Snack of the Day on the Rachael Ray Show.
Ali’s has recently expanded and, in addition to their delicious dairy selections, has a new parve (dairy free) kitchen. All products are under the kosher certification of the Atlanta Kashrut Commission (AKC).
