From FoodWishes.com, How to Make Granola with Chef John. A healthy, easy, lighter homemade recipe for granola.

Ingredients: (this can easily be doubled):

1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped or slivered almonds
1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1/3 cup shredded coconut

Bake at 250 degrees F. for 1 hour (or until golden brown), stirring every 15 minutes. After it is done, mix in some dried fruit.
